The governor of Kansas would be another good choice if he would choose a woman. |

Also excellent. Good point. |

I was just about to say, Kathleen Sebelius would be a good choice too, although Napolitano might be just the smack in the face that McCain would need to make him lose it on stage somewhere with his infamous temper. |

You've put your finger on why I like Napolitano, though he'd never meet her in a debate. But having to fight a rearguard action against the vice presidential nominee to hold his own state would be a really great way to divide the Republican resources. Remember, the GOP will not have the sort of resources this time that they have had in the past. The pundidiots aren't really talking about it, but the money game changed in a huge way since 2006 and the Democrats should have the upper hand this time. Obama has shown he can raise a fortune and you can see McCain tossing out all of his alleged principles on campaign finances in order to catch up. If he had to spend a lot of money in Arizona, where he expected not to spend anything in all likelihood, it would be a huge plus. He's going to have a fight on his hands in the midwest, too. Democrats usually win Illinois, but Obama is not only going to win there, but should be able to pull Ohio along as well this time, and without too much trouble because of the huge GOP scandals there and because of the job losses and general economy. |

You know, I like yor reasoning, Napolitano might be an excellent choice, but I need to educate myself a bit about her. |
