What's on your mind?

This can't be repeated enough. It's not broke people!

Did you really torture yourself watching like, Amanada, like, the Town Hall twit? I couldn't do it.

What bothered me, nunya, was that Hamsher came off as no smarter. It was a real She Said/She Said segment where they looked equally as vapid. That bugged me a lot because I don't think Hamsher is vapid at all. That's really what was behind me posting this, and I'm glad you made your comment because that clarified for me what was behind my reaction to that piece. If Hamsher had said what I wrote and outlined the precise nature of the Social Security issue, it would have been a defining moment for the Amanda person, very much like how Chris Matthews made that wingnut radio twerp look like a moron by asking him what Chameberlain had actually done to be called an "appeaser". Had Hamsher described the precise nature of the Social Security issue, it would have made the Amanda person look like exactly what she is: an empty vessel. Instead, by just saying, "There's no problem here" over and over, Hamsher turned it into a She Said/She Said piece where nothing compelling emerged other than a sense that there really is no useful discourse taking place anywhere.
