• There you go dreaming out loud. The sun must be beating down on your head making you delusional. You also have forgotten this America and not Great Britain. We have our own political system. I would have thought 30 years in the same office you might figure how it works.
Go Obama / Edwards 08

Obama supporters are going to be unpleasantly surprised when he doesn't extract us from Iraq before 2012 ( per his own admission ). Hillary, Obama, McCain... all essentially take direction from the Knesset. You just watch.

Somewhere over the rainbow . . .
The sun will come out tomorrow . . .it's only a day away . . .
Well, no exactly . . . you see, a telescope has a mighty sharp eye. It brings the stars so close that you feel you can almost touch them.
Oh yea, about Songbird McInsane's speech . . . whatever idiot told him making that speech was a good idea and the buffoons who wrote it should be fired. Sounds like grandpa calling all the grands and greatkids in to tell them bedtime stories as they close their eyes and go to . . .zzzzzz
Yawn . . . hope McCain enjoyed his version of a 1st State of the Union Address because that honor will go to the Democratic President in January 2009.
This speech was insulting to all thinking Americans, including the ones who finally regret voting twice for Bush.
In a Bizarro Universe of all things having purpose, the Republicans can continue to lie and cover up for all the Bush-Cheney atrocities and the past 7 years of this monarchial administration when they loose all those seats in the House and Senate, along with loosing the White House, they can blame McStupid for having no coattails . . guess he lost those when, after drinking tea, eating oranges and cookies, he fell through the looking glass finding Twiddle-Dee and Twiddle Dum who told him he was the One Who Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
There's something very tragic about that man (McInSane)… and I'm sure that nothing but harm will come to you through him.

Wow! So we're going to Swift Boat McCain? I didn't think it was especially worthwhile to do that to Kerry and I don't think it is worthwhile to do it to McCain. I never believed it against Kerry and I don't believe it against McCain, but I also think it won't work against McCain as a campaign tactic, so it isn't worth trying.
I agree that he's atragic figure in many ways. I always go back to Hunter Thompson Fear and Loathing n the Campaign Trail: 1972 and that quote of his about men who perpetually seek the White House. They lose all sense of anything else. It's a heady thing, running for president, and for some men it becomes an obsession that turns into a tragic situation. Biden's got that sickness too. I think Richardson may have contracted it. For the Republicans, nobody has it quite like McCain.

I respect McCain for his service to his country. I disdain his policies, and I most certainly do not want him to send another Roberts or Alito to the Supreme Court.
