This War and Me
Thank you from all of our family for keeping us safe. We all appreciate your dedication and love for our great country. You will be in our thoughts and prayers for your safe return.
'wish your were here' reminds me of postcards people send on vacation. They don't really wish you were there, just want to rub it in your face that they are there and you aren't. Guess it depends on where you are at the time.
Good grief. You're human! You have a tough job and you wouldn't be human if it didn't get to you sometimes.
Just remember that your family loves you and there are folks like me that truly do appreciate the sacrifices you are making. You and your comrades are in my prayers.
You are in my prayers and the rest of the gang over there. We do appreciate what you are doing. And think about you all the time. You are making a difference. I feel safer because of YOU. and from what I hear you are making a difference over there. Where I live there are alot of Iraqi people and they are so happy that American soldiers are in Iraq to help out. G-d bless you. Keep the faith. He will give you strength when you least expect it.
Sweetheart I never meant to tear you you up. I am so proud of you for taking the task of Freedom and doing what you can to protect it.
I believe that this war may just be the "schoolin" you need to make a career as a wonderful writer when all this is over. Keep spouting the truth and you are indeed bound to be knocked around a little by those willing to bury and hide it.
Even in my silly attempts to tell stories I am told that to be so honest only asks for trouble. BUT to those people I say "If not me .......who?"
I love you and could never be more proud of the man you have become.
