Well at least that's a UCI race. I hear it's not cheap to put on a UCI race. But $25 for a local race, no cops, no road closures, plenty of people? When races in the boonies where there are fewer racers are $20 or even $15? Doesn't seem right to me.

only 1 of the 3 in the series is a UCI race. I'm cool paying $35 for UCI, not for not.

I guess. I like how the Pork Chop Challenge did it: food, beer and pork chops from sponsors and volunteers in exchange for a donation to the fundraiser. That was fun! I can't really say much since I've never promoted a race though.
