SMQ a no-brainer for this award. Glad that he won.

Gravatar second

Gravatar These awards were dead to me once the Fulmer Cup (which boils down to adding small numbers together) beat UFR for best recurring feature.

Gravatar mgoblog rules.

Gravatar Donated just because Brian deserves it today more than ever.

Gravatar I'm Sickthhh.

Gravatar You'll have your comeuppance, Brian. I have faith.

Gravatar Sweet, after over a week of R&R, i get to come home and read about blog awards. Or... nope, I didn't read it.

Gravatar I'm in love with you babee, oh yeah... change me over I do for you... oh yeah yeah yeah. I refresh myself in the ocean surveying for your love...ooo oh yeah oh yeah yeah yeah.

Gravatar Shepard to LSU.

Gravatar kgh, how do you know that

Gravatar damn it, you're right

Gravatar damn shepard

Gravatar crap, no one else is in here. I need to talk about Les

Gravatar by Mike Scarborough (Rivals)

LSU picked up one of the nation's top athletic quarterbacks Monday evening when Russell Shepard of Houston-Cypress Ridge gave Les Miles his verbal commitment. Shepard is currently rated as the nation's No. 4 overall prospect. He finished his junior season with 2,300 yards of total offense and 26 touchdowns.

Gravatar Note to self:

when someone says "new thread, hit the refresh button. no matter how fun the bar was."

*Tends to clear up several minutes of confusion*

Gravatar Damn it Shepard! And all the frat guys were so excited, thinking he might bring sheep.

Gravatar Sorry Ninja, this is how the dice rolled. I don't think he'll visit Michigan anymore...if he did it'd give him something to think about for sure.

Gravatar I don't know what the wizard is doing right now. The sweatervest already has 8 huge commitments for the '09 season.

Gravatar RR should have gone RIGHT after shepard when TP was being a little girl. Oh well...let's see who else we can get.

Tate Forcier
Jordan Luallen
Morgan Newton
Tom Savage
Kyle Nichol
Devontae Payne

These seem most probable.

There's also Tyrik Rollison, but I don't think he is considering Michigan at all.

Gravatar Break out the snake oil.

Gravatar I doubt the wizard even knows about this development.

Gravatar http://b5.boards2go.com/boards/b...4223& user=mabee

A summary of the Carty BS from the victors board, shit comes out this weekend. That Mofo is going down after this.

Gravatar Thanks for the link anon.

I don't think Shep is a complete lost cause at this point. The LSU verbal doesn't surprise me at all - his woman goes there and the qb situation at worst for him would be RS a year while Perrilloux is a 5th year senior. If Perrilloux doesn't come back (I'd bet on the fact he is back by the summer) LSU will be starting a young QB prolly a rs frosh. Lets say this new QB is a stud in his debut season - Shep might rethink his commitment rather than sit on the bench for multiple years. But I think this is all moot because Perrilloux will be back.

Gravatar @jhs
and h for h

all those 09 land-air threat dudes have 1-star QB names so thanks for that bit of optimism on shepard (who I give 2 stars) from capn comeback.

Tangent before I return to the woods:

When is the last time M football suited up in non-maize pants? Dex got me thinking about this with an earlier post and going back to about 70' I ain't seen another look, so perhaps pre-Bo?

Gravatar I wouldnt give up on Shepard, I would assume he hasnt yet made any official visits and commitments made this early are far from a sure thing. Also, has there been any development on when TP is going to announce, I know we are not the favorites but we still do have a chance, he has less than a month before he is required to decide and his basketball season must be winding down. Any news??

Gravatar @big foot -
I'm pretty sure UM wore white pants on the road for an all white look some time in the 70's.

Gravatar That "story" reminds me of my freshman year roommate. He was the kind of guy who'd narc on a party in high school b/c it involved "underage drinking". Ohhhh the horror!! I always wondered if those people ever learn what real life is like, but apparently they turn into Jim Carty.

Yeah the Shep thing is very early, but he plans on enrolling in January so everything is condensed. Great points JHS.

Gravatar http://youtube.com/watch? v=E5xKf...feature=related

Comments pasted from Michigan football in the 70's

1. The field at the Big House was astroturf. That lasted until 1991.

2. No lettering in the end zones until 1976.

3. Other than the MSU and OSU games, the big house was rarely sold out for the rest of the season. Despite having a combined record of 50-4-1 between 1970 and 1974 and going undefeated at home, the big house didn't start their 100,000+ attendance streak at games until 1975.

4. In the mid-70's, the team wore white pants at away games. We look like Penn State with winged helmets.

5. In 1972, the block M on the 50 yard line looks too small and wimpy. (2:37) I'm glad that didn't stay around too long.

6. The players didn't have their names on their jerseys. Those weren't added until 1981.

Gravatar I'm in love with you babee, oh yeah... change me over I do for you... oh yeah yeah yeah. I refresh myself in the ocean surveying for your love...ooo oh yeah oh yeah yeah yeah.

Weirdest. Handlejack. Ever.

Gravatar For, lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of the singing of birds is come,
And the Bonderman changeup article has arrived.

http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs...329/1004/ SPORTS

Gravatar Shit, I got to go get my coffee and settle in here before Jay gives us another great lecture on why Bonderman isn't Sandy Koufax.

Gravatar have i mentioned how much i despise Carty... like literally i would pummell this dude if i ever met him. Absolutley no concept of athletics, loves to hear himself talk, and if it werent for the internet, would not even be known.... He gives me nothing.

ok im done..

Gravatar You are just a disgruntled blogger.

Gravatar i prefer to think of myself, as a prospective blogger.... kind of like an undergrad, a GA, or a jv coach.. Have to earn my stripes before im a Blogger, and prove i belong...

Gravatar The way they are playing recently, the class they recruited this year, the class they have already started to recruit for next year.....I don't see us beating Ohio State for years to come. Just my observation. Not hating or anything, they are just plain better right now.

Gravatar glen,

if a couple breaks go our way, we are tlaking about a winning streak against the bucknuts. Call me crazy, there just really isnt that much of a difference football tallent wise, between them and us.

Gravatar Bonderman got out of the first inning without giving up a run. Cy Young, here we come.

Gravatar The fact that Shepard committed to LSU after all the breathless ball-washing around here sort of makes me giggle.

Gravatar I can't wait for the first "That pussy-whipped asshole chose LSU because he can't think past his girlfriend..." post.

Gravatar Caper is going to MSU

Gravatar Wow GlennSteele sounds like a diehard Wolverine fan with a rational perspective. Certainly not FearTheVest googling old UM players for usernames or anything. He is right, Michigan should just disband their football team and quit now. It's not like they only lost by a FG in 2006, or handed Troy Smith a last minute TD for the win in 2005. No sir, they were THRASHED.

I'm not saying UM was better or "should" have won those games, just saying it's hardly like they were just soundly beaten and embarassed.

Gravatar Chitown, you've got it wrong man. Shepherd was all about himself. He didn't want to compete with Justin Feagin for the job, and he wanted all the attention on himself. That's why he picked so early- so he'd be the only guy in the spotlight. If he was a true Michigan Man, he would have waited till signing day so he could carefully weigh his options. It's just like an immature HS kid to be selfish and jump at the first opportunity presented to him- where is his patience? Damn ingrate.

I heard Les Miles hooked him up with one of those crazy looking swamp boats all tricked out with stereos and rims and shit too.

Gravatar dex- I don't think I came across sounding that desperate but nice try. Oh and thanks for pointing out the "almost wins", cause they count for alot.

I love Michigan, my point was Ohio State has been better, and I see the trend continuing not stopping, as evidenced by their start in recruiting in 09. I'm not saying that recruiting means everything either, but it's just a sign that OSU isn't slowing down, and we aren't really catching up.

Sorry if I'm a realist

Gravatar Almost wins count for nothing in the record book, right.

However, being a realist does not mean your brain only operates in binary code.

A realist would look at the previous three games and say "2007 was, regardless of score, an ass whipping. In 2006, we are one penalty from having a very good chance at winning the game, and in 2005 we had a 8 point lead halfway through the 4th quarter."

What that means is, while M did lose the game, they obviously had very good shots at winning the game and we're about four plays from having a 2-1 record in the past 3 years. Which adds up to: The difference between OSU and UM isn't that great head to head.

Gravatar Also- read my first post again and then read your first post. Talk about overreaction... Are you in 6th grade?

Did I say we were "Thrashed"? Did I say we were "embarrassed"? I was stating my opinion.

Gravatar In other words, you should probably get your itchy finger off the panic button before you accidentally nuke Romania.

Gravatar I don't see us beating Ohio State for years to come. Just my observation. Not hating or anything, they are just plain better right now.

Yes, you did overreact. That's a ridiculously short sighted statement. Nobody ever upsets anyone in football games, ever. It's not like a shitty OSU team beat M in 2004. Or a crappy M teams beat #1 OSU teams in the 90s. Or any other of about 20 examples. Nope, the "best" team always wins, no matter what.

Gravatar glen,

are you ignoring the fact that either team could have won most of the last 10 games, and that coaching, the weakest link, has been upgraded?

Gravatar "years to come"

The next 2 years I don't see us beating them. Again my opinion, not an overreaction. If you really think we will beat them next year than that's great... I don't see it happening. The following year we have a very good shot, fair enough.

Gravatar Glen,

provide one reasonable argument why you do not see us beating osu in the next two years... that is all we are saying... there is no real advantage football player wise between us and them (repeat) and our coaching is now better... that equals a better chance of beating them they way i see it... not that i know anything about football or anything...

Gravatar Gsimm- Yes... And I'm also taking into consideration the 2-3 years of recruting that it takes to implement a "system" and the right players to fit that system. Hence why I'm skeptical of the next "few" years. Again I don't know why dex takes this so personally, it's just my opinion.

Gravatar If you only mean one season, then "years to come" is an unbelievably bad choice of words. In fact, it's basically the complete opposite of what you meant to say.

Gravatar I don't take it personally. If you are going to make absurd sports talk radio proclamations about shit, then maybe you should be able to defend your position without resorting to "it's just my opinion".

Gravatar Let's not forget the major upgrade in S&C.

Gravatar Oh I backed my point up just fine. We are going through a transition, and Ohio State is better than us in every facet of the game right now. Their play on the field, recruiting players, and head to head results. Those are the FACTS.

Gravatar troll

Gravatar If by "backing up your position" you mean you went from saying we won't beat OSU "for years to come" to "well we probably won't win next year but have a great shot the next" then you are right.

I would call that completely backtracking and contradicting your position, but to each his own.

Gravatar Not a troll at all, just more pessimistic than you guys I guess... Doesn't make me any less of a "fan"

Gravatar sorry glen,

you just lost me, i was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt...

are you even planning on watching the next 2 seasons?

Gravatar I don't agree, an attitude like that does make you less of a fan.

Gravatar Shouldn't the team have at least one practice before passing judgement? Maybe even a few weeks of practice with the entire roster? or possibly a few games?

Gravatar Waiting for results and showing patience only makes you sane, dhex. It doesn't get you a spot in the Annual Smack Off on the Rome Show.

Gravatar dhex- Of course- And I never said any comments like "this team sucks", "we aren't good" etc. What I said was the OSU is in a better position as a program right now, and it blows. Obviously I hope we turn the tide but they just continue to build momentum.

Gsimm & dex- The game is still played on the field and we can still win any given day. But there is no denying the fact that they are winning the war on the field, and they are winning the war of recruiting.

Rumple- I don't agree with you, like dex said "to each his own"

Gravatar I find it amusing you think I'm some sort of Pollyanna "Michigan is great!" dude.

In more important, JOYOUS news..

Brett Favre? Retiring? Oh please oh please oh please

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com...ex.html? cnn=yes

Gravatar I do not agree that they are winning the war off the field either. Scout has us ranked higher for our 08 recruiting class. osu has shown that they have a hard time adapting to new schemes and we sure have one now.

Gravatar steele,

i wouldnt say they are winning the war on recruting, both are top ten,

and the only real difference between us and them has been position coaching and game management... both of those things have been upgraded at michigan... i look for a good 4 or 5 game win streak. then back to every other year...

Gravatar yah...what gsims said.

Gravatar "i look for a good 4 or 5 game win streak. then back to every other year..."

You mean for Ohio State?

Gravatar "Almost wins" don't count for anything, but the closeness of the games does point to the fact that the teams were fairly evenly matched.

Also, while recruiting rankings are a fairly decent predictor of success (I'm sure OSU will continue to be good), you can't ignore the fact that RR turned out perrenial top 10 teams with recruiting classes ranked in the 50's. Getting classes ranked #10 is a sea change in the amount of talent he's has to work with.

Gravatar yeah glen, that is what i mean, of course.... becasue i am a bucknut like you.

Gravatar Huh? How did i become a Bucknut?

Gravatar It's probably the Andy Katzenmoyer jersey you have on, Glen.

Gravatar I for one cannot wait to see this year's squad. i would even consider fast forwarding through golf season to do so. Never been this excited to see what kind of product we'll put on the field.

Gravatar "i look for a good 4 or 5 game win streak. then back to every other year..."

You mean for Ohio State?
GlenSteele | 03.04.08 - 11:01 am | #

you really expect me to think you are a michigan fan? when you obviously look for the reasons why michigan can not beat osu, and why osu is better. If you truly are a michinga fan, what a sad sad life you must have always expecting and hoping for your favorite team to loose to its biggest rival, so that you can brag about how right you are...

Gravatar It's just like, his opinion, dude.

Gravatar i misinterpreted your post...I didn't realize you were saying 4-5 wins for them. You lost me there.

Chi- not so much bro

Gravatar Glen,

When people come here and type things like "Guys, I'm a huge Michigan fan, but Ohio State just looks so strong - I see the gap increasing", it is often one particular OSU troll that come here. Hence the accusation.

Gravatar glen, have you posted here much?

Gravatar Scout Rankings

2006
UM t9
OSU 13

2007
UM 10
OSU 16

2008
UM 5
OSU 7

But OSU is "obviously" winning the recruiting war. Obviously.

Nobody is saying UM is better than OSU, it's just that you are making stuff up to support your trolling.

Gravatar I love how you guys all stick together, it's cute. So what is it, if anyone disagrees (even if that person is a Michigan fan) he must be a troll, or a bucknut? Is this how you deal with all of the people in your life that have differing opinions?

Gravatar gsimmons - the fact that your car is on your blog gets it an A+ from me.

Gravatar What does it matter how much i post? I work...ALOT. I have been reading Brian since last summer. If i was a troll or a Bucknut i would hang myself for being such a loser that i would come on here and say this stuff.

Gravatar No Glenn, it's how I deal with opinions that don't make any sense. It can be your opinion that the Earth is flat, but that doesn't make it true dipshit.

So, you've been shown that Michigan was very competitive 2 of the past 3 years. Which leads to the fact that they are hardly guaranteed to lose for years to come.

Then you said we're getting beat in recruiting, but the data doesn't support that either.

Gravatar Glen, that might not be a bad option.

Gravatar Now now, let's leave Glen alone. Let's talk about how much of an asshole Shepard is.

Gravatar I was surprised our recruiting numbers were that good- I guess i didn't follow it as closely as you. I'll take crow for that argument. That being said it makes me feel worse about Lloyd Carr and happier about RR.

And as for the games, yeah they were close.... And the Patriots were close to winning the Superbowl, but they didn't. I don't count moral victories

Gravatar glen, we disagree a lot...

in fact there was a time a few weeks ago, that our internet friendships were in jeopardy due to some unwarranted attacks on night ranger and corvettes... but im over it...

and im glad you took out time from your busy schedule to make a first post about how michigan will loose to osu on a thread that has nothing to do with that topic....

Gravatar Oh but wait..Michigan is in a transition! It will be impossible to beat OSU in a transition!

Michigan coaches in their first game against OSU:

Bo 24-12, W
Mo 16-13, W
Lloyd 31-23, W

OSU coaches in their first game vs. UM
Woody, 0-7, L
Bruce, 18-13, W
Cooper, 31-34, L
Tressel, 26-20, W

So 1st year coaches are 5-2 in the Game. Small, small sample, but hardly conclusive that new regimes are doomed to failure.

Gravatar Thanks stat boy

Gravatar You have terrible reading comprehension if you think I'm talking about moral victories.

The point is yes, Michigan lost and that's terrible the sky is falling blah blah, but for an indicator of where you stand in regards to the competition, do you not think the margin of victory would come into play? Are you that incapable of insight that all you can is W and L?

If Michigan was routinely losing by 40 to OSU, I'd be far more concerned than losing by 11, 3, and 3 over the past three years.

Gravatar I must retire to the NERDERY! How terrible of I to actually look something up instead of just assuming that 1st year coaches suck and that OSU has better recruiting! If Glenn thinks it, it must be true, facts be damned!

Gravatar chi,

the car is there as a diversion from the crappy spelling and grammar...

Gravatar Is "stat boy" a derogatory term? Statistics measure performance. Would you rather make arguments on whether OSU recruits O-Lineman who can come up with a nickname for themselves? Or the sweatervest vs. the baseball hat?

Gravatar I have to say, I have never seen a lynching like this on these comment threads before. I guess we're bored?

Gravatar yeah,
yesterday was the dbq, today is the gilded age test. i have nothing better to do...

Gravatar It's been too long without Pryor haters and McGuffie is slow talk, I was getting bored.

Gravatar gsims, is there anyway that Mrs. Simmons would let you get 1987 vintage Tawny Kitaen in a bikini airbrushed on the hood of the WS6? I would also accept 1990 vintage Bobbie Brown.

Gravatar The funny part is, if you look at my comments, I haven't said anything that bad. I have just said that I don't like where we are compared to them. I haven't namecalled, or hurled insults (unlike others)

But i'm a big boy, I can take it.

Gravatar well lets see mrg, ill ask... of course this is the same girl that got mad at me for saying Boobs in the latest post... so i kind of doubt it....

she still is jealous of the following people, alyssa milano, tiffany amber theisen, the girl from the bangels, and various other 80's fantasy women...

Gravatar I don't know why, but I was reminded of this.

http://www.firejoemorgan.com/200...odgers- now.html

Gravatar Yes, you are so right. You are a martyr for reactionary, ill-advised, wrong statements on the Internet and/or poorly disguised trolls. Congratulations.

Gravatar Can you cut out a photograph of Tawyn Kittaen from an 80's mag, tape it on top of your car photo, then take a picture of that, then upload it?

Gravatar Susanna Hoffs is a goddess. She's also 49. Yikes.

Gravatar she is 49? gah

Gravatar dex- you are a complete loser, and your blog sucks. Oh and you definitely never got hugged as a kid

Gravatar She still makes me "Walk with an erection".

Gravatar OK Dex

Gravatar I was hugged too many times as a child, and very inappropriately.

Gravatar rumpell, greates post ever....

just laguhed in a room of test taking students... had to make it into a cough...

Gravatar Good times today dex, I hope you got your frustration out. If/when i post again i'll be sure to change the handle so you little girls don't get upset.

Go Blue

Gravatar Yeah you could go back to making Bike Hart jokes, that would be great.

Gravatar or just start out with the little girl jokes... that would be better,

Gravatar so not only do you think michigan is no where near osu, you also hate michigan fans... wow what a great fan

Gravatar I don't hate Michigan fans, I am one... I hate Morons, and you and dex are just that.

Good day sir. Oh and the "little girl jokes" That's creepy dude, you are a teacher.

Goodnight and Goodluck

Gravatar That's like the 4th time you've said you are leaving.

Gravatar By your reasoning we should not have beaten Fl at the Citrus bowl. QB with a broken arm, a hobbling little/slow RB, add in an overweight team plus the worst O staff in the country....we should have lost by like 30 points. I was severely pessimistic about us winning that game...but a little change in philosophy was all that was needed to turn the tide. So with all this upgrade in S&C and coaching philosophy, we should be ready to roll..maybe not this year but certainly next year. Our players are as talented or come with similar star ratings as theirs..in fact we might be slightly ahead of them....please do not use this year's class as a measuring stick...and even if you do, they not that far ahead of us. USC yes but not OSU!

Gravatar Gsims,
A month or so ago there was a post about a coaching clinic at M. Has that happened? If not are you going?

Gravatar What's the deal with UM junior day guys? We usually have one in late Feb or early March..right before spring practice....any word on that. Its a pretty good opportunity to get familiar with the Mid west kids!!

Gravatar yeah its later on, i still dont know if im going or not... the coaches clinic that is, it is the weekend after i have a clinic at mrytle beach, so if i had to choose, well you do the math on that one...

glen the little girl jokes, were directed at you calling us little girls... ive been called a moron before, but not by a former michigan fan, when trying to defend why michigan can dfeat osu...

Gravatar Last night on the NFL Network, some random guy was talking about character issues with Mario Manningham, and said he had to meet with Carr to run stadium steps for 60 days in the offseason. Wasn't that Arrington?

Gravatar Gsims, When exactly is it? I would assume that you need to be a coach to get in (which I am not)?

Gravatar I'm in love with you babee, oh yeah... change me over I do for you... oh yeah yeah yeah. I refresh myself in the ocean surveying for your love...ooo oh yeah oh yeah yeah yeah.

*smiles*

Gravatar Dex...the NFL network is slowing losing its thing. Mayock is good..so are rest of th e crew, but mow they have started adding Pete Fiutak of CFN, they have gone down a notch..plus having SEC homer Charles Davis doesn;t help either. I mean would any sane person ever take Fiutak serioulsy when it comes to Football analysis. But they have been pretty kind on MM, since they actually watched film and know something about football they still have him as a deep threat while other morons say he lacks breakaway speed!!

Gravatar yo man this is wack. listen up. Why the hell is Tressel recruiting 4 and 5 star caliber athletes LEFT AND RIGHT while RR is trying but not doing much. This is sickening man.

Gravatar dex- yes, it was arrington

Gravatar Obvious troll is obvious.

Gravatar Someone had Mendenhall over McFadden last night on the NFL Network, which seemed odd. But maybe I'm just out of the loop.

Gravatar I wish the recruiting stuff would heat up a little bit, I'm bored.

Gravatar Mayock has Mendenhall ahead of DMC...for some strange reason he hates DMC.

Gravatar sorry to be lazy, but can somebody repost the link to the carty thing? that link isn't working for me...

Gravatar im going to post a couple of power point things im putting together talking about basic shades and techniques, should be done in a bit, im bored, so i can do this now....

Gravatar yo man this is wack. listen up. Why the hell is Tressel recruiting 4 and 5 star caliber athletes LEFT AND RIGHT while RR is trying but not doing much. This is sickening man.

Is this a joke?

Gravatar Here you go..try WingedHelmet instead!

http://wingedhelmet.com/anyboard...533&v=2&gV=0& p=

Gravatar thanks. looks like it's going to be an earth-shattering article. how will we recover?

Gravatar I immediately concede to OSU and all SEC schools. We suck.

I now am a fan of Michigan State. The Spartons run an amazing progra and are not cheaters like Michigan.

Classes during the summer, how dare you Michigan.

Bo wouldn't have done that; he's a true Michigan Man.

Gravatar Ok, being a Spartan fan for more than 12 seconds gave me a rash.

I'm back to Go Blue!

Gravatar I've stopped paying attention to the projected NFL draft order because it changes nearly every day, and the analysts think they know what's best for every team. Which they don't, obviously.

Don't get too worked up over it, it's just a peanut gallery.

Gravatar Terrelle Pryor news sure has gone quiet. Maybe he isn't the news hog he has been made out to be.

What is the latest? Has done an official to Penn State yet?

Gravatar Why Shep? Why???? Two weeks ago I was saying that RR might turn out to be a great recruiter. I still think that he can be, but he isn't one right now. We only have one recruit for 09, a great 5* DE recruited by Lloyd. And are we targeting Dorian Bell or what? I don't subscribe to Rivals, but I noticed that there was an article on the Michigan page about Dorian Bell. Anyone know what it said? Toledo man?

What other QBs are out there for 09 that are considering Michigan?

Gravatar Predictions regarding the immediate future of the OSU rivalry and for YEARS TO COME (here I am invoking the traditional understanding of that phrase—meaning many years) are difficult because of the change in such a critical variable—the Michigan coaches.
Here is my reason for optimism. After the 2006 season I suspected the Big Ten had fallen behind the times and strategy wise was moribund and ossified. I think this was evident with Michigan especially and a careful analysis of OSU supports this contention (I won’t elaborate unless flamed but I suspect USC will eat OSU alive.) In recent seasons, Michigan and OSU have not been performing well against out of conference top competition. They often look great against in conference foes. SMQ’s recent analysis uses numbers to support my contention that the Big Ten is playing an older style of football than other conferences (only in the Big Ten is TOP an indicator of victory and passing yards an indicator of losing.) The Big Ten still plays TOP of possession, punt and play defense while much of the rest of the country understands that maximizing scoring is a must. Michigan has brought in one of the preeminent disciples of the ninja offense approach. This is the first marriage of top notch talent and the maximize scoring approach in the Big Ten. There is reason to be optimistic that RR will tear a swathe of destruction through the Big Ten forcing it to adjust to the modern football. Witness, Michigan changes philosophy and rips thru FLA.

Gravatar Oh wait, Henne for Heisman answered my last question. Thanks!

Gravatar The fact that Shepard committed to LSU after all the breathless ball-washing around here sort of makes me giggle.

For the record I was breathing heavily while ballwashing.

As far as Glen Steele: Damn, you guys were brutal. Seriously, that was like a virtual smack talking bukakke episode.

Gravatar In conclusion, those white on white uniforms were ridiculous. I have to look away every time I accidentally hit a clip of them on youtube.

Gravatar White on white is gayer than Brady Quinn. And he's gayer than 3 & Out Jesus is fat, so by the transitive property, white on white is pretty damn gay. You know, but that's just my opinion.

Gravatar Someone commented yesterday that Terrelle Pryor news had gotten quiet. In addition to the never-ending basketball playoffs in PA, I read in the Pitt Post Gazette that Pryor's dad had a heart attack.

Apparently not life threatening, but a heart attack nonetheless.

Gravatar Apparently he had a minor heart attack and had to have a stent put in. Why is he in a wheelchair?

Gravatar Oh, it's because of a neuromuscular disorder.
