Is your comment on the Fiesta Bowl from your ballot ("OSU wins mucho") based on any specific moment, statistic, or trend based on both teams' game against Michigan? I'd be interested to see your analysis of the matchup.
I imagine it's based on their seasons as a whole, and how both teams finished. OSU got progressively better, and Notre Dame was wildly inconsistent and finished on a distinctly uninspiring note. Notre Dame seems to have long since peaked, whereas OSU is probably still hopeful of finding its ceiling.
What they did against Michigan is pretty immaterial. The two teams didn't play anywhere near the same Michigan team.
Any chance of excluding someone from voting in the BlogPoll for repeated and defiant jackassery? I'm not a voter, but surely you've noticed that many of your wack ballot bitchouts tend to have a certain...element of homogeneity???
