My internets show me last week's poll with this week's analysis. Damn those tubes.

If lose this week to Maryland, I'm hunting Jeff down and whipping his ass. We're definitely not a position to taunt the football gods.

Frank McGrath is pretty much insane and doesn't deserve a ballot. Texas, Tennessee, and Notre Dame all ahead of Michigan? It was nice of him to finally move us into the Top 10 this week though. Maybe he didn't see what transpired in South Bend on Sept 16th...in case you missed it Frank 47-21 BEATDOWN. But I certainly agree with Texas being ahead of us. They have just blasted Rice and Sam Houston State and whatever other lame schools they have played. Their only real game this year wasn't too successful. And UGa? 5th best team in the country? hahaha. not so much.

I could say something complex about why FMcG is voting this way, but I honestly think he's just a tool.

If the rest of the Poll had watched Boise St. kill Utah they would have put the Broncos in their Top 10, too.

Ugly winnin' is still winnin'. Besides, I picked Georgia to do really well, so until they lose, they're there.

I agree re: McGrath. First, why does a Tulane school even get a vote? Since when have they ever been relevant to college football, other than that one year they had one of the Bowdens coach them to a decent season?
Also, his votes just dont make sense. Maybe he's being a tool or maybe he's just ig'nant, but he HAS to go. Remember when you canned that BGS ballot for being all crazy like? Well McGrath is far worse. Brian, it's time to bring out your inner dictator once again and bump McGrath from the poll.

I'll stand by my Iowa at #9 vote.
I had Iowa at #6 in my previous poll (although it was two weeks ago....I missed last week's voting) so they dropped 3 slots. Their lone loss is by 13 to #1 Ohio State. texas's lone loss is by 17 to #1 Ohio State.
Also, Virginia Tech losing opened up an extra slot in my top 10 which cushioned Iowa's fall a little.
I'm not heartset on Iowa being that high but it's simply where they ended up after I shuffed everyone around.

Actually, Iowa lost by 21 to Ohio State. Given that the game was played in Iowa, that's pretty bad, no matter whom their opponent was.

Looking at it again, it's only a 4 point difference from what texas lost to them by (also at home).
I guess I just have a difficult time hitting teams really hard after losing to #1 type teams.

By the way, not to be overly technical, but I'm pretty sure that the point of insertion for a continental catheter would be Miami, not Tampa, so, despite the nomenclature "University of South Florida," I'm not sure the Bulls quality as "the very tip."
