Maybe it's just me, but I think we're always better off without proven knuckleheads on the team, regardless of their alleged ability. You cannot count on these people in tough situations.
Without having one iota of knowledge to indicate whether he's remotely capable, I nominate Vince Helmuth to move to tight end. He's got the ability to carry the ball, and that ability is going to be completely wasted in our current offensive scheme if he's at FB.

Whats the over/under on time it takes OSU fans and bloggers to accuse Michigan of being a corrupt program? I know Stewart Mandel already has an article in the works about how Lloyd can't recruit or keep his program under control and that he'll promise everyone free hot dogs if Michigan doesn't a make bowl game and when he realizes he's completely off he'll pretend the article never existed. Wow, that was the longest run-on I've ever made.

That was one of the weirdest hockey games I have ever seen. What a poorly played game by both teams.
I can't believe how many dumb penalties there were, how bad the refs were, how bad the ND goalie was, and how Sauer somehow managed to make him look like Tretiak by comparison. Good God what a terrible way to send JMFJ and Hensick out.
Anthony, I'd say that sums it up perfectly. It was just an odd game all around and between crappy penalty killing and Sauer generally sucking, that was a pretty disappointing finish to a season that seemed just last week like it could be something special.

1) Funny how he refers to non-athletes as "average people." Thanks for your humility, as said by the young man who couldn't get into Michigan by his grades (like the rest of the "average people" who attend UM). Not to mention he initially didn't even have ATHLETE-standard grades. Okay so I'm not a UM-athlete, but I did get into Michigan without that benefit of being physically gifted.
2) Everyone in AA is out to get UM football players? I guess I've never noticed that one.
3) Okay, he's right about some of the kids in Facebook groups/message boards because many of them don't really know anything about the situations. They post stuff mocking Butler, Germany, and Richards and calling them idiots (even if it's true). I'd be angry if people were talking bad about my friends too.
4) What are those "situations" he's referring to anyways? Getting drunk and beating the shit out of a kid for wanting an iron? Smoking weed when you're in the public eye? Sure, if I smoked a blunt nobody would really care (unless the cops caught me). But when you're not an "average person," you should know NOT to do certain things. That's just what comes with being an ABOVE average person, right?

East Quad actually does have an elevator. Nothing beats the awesome might of those four technological wonders that conveniently lifted me to 8th floor Squad every day for two years, but technically, there is a single elevator in EQ.
This handful of players doesn't make M a corrupt program, just like the occasional drunken moron in scarlet and gray shouldn't stain OSU as such, either.

As long as the most highly talented recruits that Red brings into town use him and the program as nothing more than a means of extracting a lucrative offer from the NHL after their freshman year, we're never going back to the Frozen Four, let alone winning a championship.
Take a look at the rosters of the championship teams of the 95/96 and 97/98 seasons, and all the key juniors and seniors who hadn't bolted for the grandeur of bus rides in the minor leagues. Without them, neither championship banner hangs at Yost.
Time passes, traditions are established, names come and go, memories linger into eternity, and West Quad still sucks.....
Instead of hanging out in WQ, they should have just gone to SQuad and hooked up on the ever-awesome quesadilla night.
