Seriously, THE University of Ohio State at Columbus is the worst. I was at the ND game in ND Henne's freshman year. We lost and it sucked. On the way out, I heard some little fucking worm ND freshman talking on his cell phone to his parents about the game. He proudly said "I did my first pushups today!" (i.e. what they show the student section doing on NBC on the rare occassions that ND actually scores). From the looks of his scrawny pysique, I wouldn't doubt it if those were the first pushups of any kind he'd ever attempted.

In my student days I was often in the company of a large instrument; at the South Bend away game, I was nearly beaned with a full Miller beer can - in the snake pit I was hit with an empty Red White and Blue can, followed immediately by a chunk of bleacher.
So, ND=stupid; OSU=insane.

What a moron Charlie Weis is. Our team was horrible last year and we crushed ND. I have a feeling we are going to beat them again in South Bend this year. I have been toying with the idea of going to South Bend for the game, but figured it was too much of a pain. After watching this, I must go just for the 70% that I can laugh my ass off when a weak UM offense but dominating D beat them at their own place. This is just ridiculous.
What I love is the base hypocrisy of the Notre Dame fans. They complain about other programs not being up to ND's standards, but then their Athletic Department goes ahead and schedules games against them (Michigan, USC)--or plays them in the bowls (most recently, LSU, Ohio State and Oregon State).
Can you imagine what a schedule of programs with "acceptable" standards to Notre Dame fans would be? You'd have the three service academies, Duke, Stanford, Rice, Vanderbilt and Northwestern as eight of the twelve regular season opponents.
But you'll never hear a Notre Dame fan advocate taking that position because of the money involved. The NBC contract would go away, alumni donations would take a hit, etc. Hell, ND's athletic department knows that as well--they signed up to play Michigan through 2031 and you can be sure they got the thumbs up from the television networks.

Calm down Seoul. ND has been a mainstay of Catholics, and has been becoming more and more popular outside the faith. As time goes on, you'll see other races (Asian, African, etc) increase. As for now, some don't apply because they don't know about ND. I have never heard anyone describe the ND campus as racist. You won't get Asians if they just don't apply. But ND has a number of international students, fwiw.
