You've found a workaround? What Is it? I'm dying to hear how to make windows be less stupid (or make windows stop trying to act so smart )

I haven't run into this personally, but one of me teammates runs into it often.

My solution is to strip allthe '.svn' directories from my working copy. I then do a fresh checkout and copy my amended files over the top of it - and then commit.

Hardly elegant...
