What is the state of Epydoc? I really like 3.0a, but have sent a couple of bug reports to the author and have not heard anything back. By seeing a project other than my own using epidoc 3.0a, you have motivated me to finally commit my fink/macosx package of epidoc.

Hmmm... I'm not sure funkiness is the right word 
It is a bit mangled isn't it. I've only checked a few of the other source code pages, but they seem to be ok.
As far as I know development on Epydoc 3 continues - but it's a one man project.
