I also just got a series 60 phone and of course put Python on it, first connected via USB but then I bought a very cheap (15 EURO) Anycom Blue USB-200/250 USB stick (no I am not getting paid which worked just as expected. My PC is connected to the internet via a router which still works flawlessly, the driver puts up a bluetooth network but that just works.

really great to use the python bluetooth console on the phone with my PC keyboard via a simple terminal...

admittedly the bluetooth installation seemed rather big (and took quite a while) but works great. maybe the driver you had is not the best (or most current?)

Maybe your comment about the driver is correct. I was using a cheap belkin device which I had read good reviews about.

However neither me nor my geek friends could get it to work; but then none of us has *ever* managed to work with a computer. It seems to work fine between devices though.
