I'd really, really like to see the IP team come up with a solution to using IP assemblies for C#/VB.NET. Such a feature would dramatically increase my IP usage.
One language I've been looking into that's somewhat similar to Smalltalk (everthing is a message, but has prototype-based OO) is the Io language It looks a lot more interesting to me than Smalltalk.

Consider yourself sued.
Oh, by the way, Tony: as a side hobby of mine, I'm working on a Java interpreter for Io with some friends. We haven't released anything, but it seems like a good path for using the language as an embedded script language. There are a few features in the Io language that are very nice.
