As sure as death G.B., it was a terrible anti climax. I was looking forward to it for ages, and had even learnt to do the numbers by making shapes with my hand, I was grumpy the whole time and quite nastily for me, I took against them (like Price Phillip) and started to hate them at the end. It took me by surprise.

I could have sworn I commented at the time, however keeping to the weird solipstic stuff that always happens whenever you comment, I was about to mention that more than anything, one of the things that was starting to piss me off was the wheedling English accents of my companions, again, something that took me by surprise, and I thjought of you surrounded by Scottish accents and how that must wear you down without you realising it until I mentioned it just there. Sorry!
Did I not comment along these lines at G's M' Medicine? I thought I had. China was a total bore and dissappointment. A bit like modern Dublin.

Living in rural SW Scotland, the only time I hear Scottish accents is when my wife and kids talk to me. Round here there are far more English accents than make me comfortable. It's all incomers in this area. There are advantages and disadvantages to this - on the one hand I don't stand out and get people glaring at me if I ask for a pint of lager. However, often it feels like when you go on holiday somewhere abroad and try and go as native as possible only to hear accents from home everywhere.
They (Chinamen) are OK but utter pains in the arse to a man.
Then you should use your arse to do what the Lord designed it for and nothing else.
