I used most of this month's emusic credits downloading a few albums to put on my boys' mp3 players. They are underwhelmed, and much prefer the Joan Jett I gave them. I'm hopeful though that time will be bring them around. It very often does with one my boys in particular.

oh thirdcat - I have been meaning to do. Years ago when I was doing regular radio every school hols I would do an on air car trip tape for kids and adults of quality music kids loved. 90 minutes. ah tapes.

Anyway I have a few on tape I been meaning to transcribe them to digital and CD and offer them to people like yourself.

It's soo complicated - find old tape deck - remember what they were? - find plu in cords- find tapes - find record software - record tape to hard drive - insert trackbreaks - before or after back announce and announce -or both? - convert to .wav - standardise volume - burn

By sheer fluke("that sounds like a cool name, must get tickets") we saw Blossom way back when.

Also saw another singing wonder way back then.

Odetta (with Billy Connolly, replete with banjo, as the warm up act act) at the Dallas Brooks Hall.
