You're right, Matt did say "One in the morning," but isn't Studio 60 supposed to be an hour-long show, which would end the show at 12:30 Eastern time, but 9:30 Pacific.

My guess as to why Sorkin set the show in LA is that there will probably be much more insight of the Hollywood culture than they could do in NYC.
