This is sort of a tangent, but I feel like it's a good bet you watch FSC -- have you noticed how weird lead commentator Christian Miles' accent is? It's comically nasal, even for a US American broadcaster, but then occasionlly he just slips into a British cadence and accent, usually when he gets excited.
I had invented this ridiculous theory that no one from the US was qualified for the job, but they didn't think Americans would watch a network with a foreign lead commentator, so they hired a Brit who could fake a decent, weirdly grating American accent, but who lost hold of it when he got excited. Sadly I just Googled him and found out that he's from Oregon, which blows my sweet theory.
But so anyway have you noticed how weird his voice is?
