1. If Bristol is really pregnant now, she won't give birth for about 5-6 months. This means she could still be the mother of 4 month old Trig and her new baby.
2. She isn't pregnant now, and sometime after the election, she will have a "miscarriage" and we won't find out the truth unless someone at Mat-Su comes forward.

This is going to sound cynical, but is it possible that Trig doesn't even have Downs? Let me explain why I suggest that. We know that one of the McCain-Palin strategies is to play the "mother of 5" card while simulaneously wanting her family and any decisions about her family to be ignored. Having cake and eating it is not off the table for this woman. She seems to have been brought into the campaign for specific strategic reasons, one of which is as a very strict anti-choice woman who's actually had to make that choice herself. I don't think it's beyond her to exploit the baby (after all, she's already thrown her oldest daughter to the wolves).

Trig has downs, that is very easy to see. But I agree on every other aspect. Bristol is so in love that child, she gloves. She acts like a lovely mother, very different from a nice elder sister.

No one has mentioned that the photo you show on this page IS NOT the same as the 2008 NGA photo that's accessible in high resolution. Look at the left side of Gov. Palin's dress around her waist: in the smaller image it show some of the steps in the background and Palin looks slimmer. In the high-res version this see-through is missing, and as a result she looks a bit heavier. This is either another frame from the same photo shoot or a quick Photoshop touch-up to make Gov. Palin look more pregnant. You decide for yourself...
Well, I just saw the exploited baby during the RNC (including closeups of his face) and I would say that my last comment is probably wrong. The baby they had on stage looks like he has Downs.
@RealityCheck, I see what you mean with those two photos. They look to be two different pictures, though. I think they were taken at different angles. Take a look at the lantern at the top, the right edge of the lineup, and the reflections in the windows in each.

This is low ball politics. Sarah Palin is a liar and would eat her own young to get what she wants. This time she is giving her children to the media for dinner. Two points I'd like to add... most women tend to deliver very quickly after numerous children, i.e., labor and delivery go very quickly, especially by the 5th kid, and a small one (6 lb) like that, would have probably delivered very quickly... how did she make it 12 hours in labor without giving birth on the plane?
Secondly, what was she doing flying in her 3rd trimester anyway? What doctor lets you do that? And what conscientous woman in a high risk pregnancy would even WANT to do that? She was high risk because she is > 40 AND carrying a "special needs" baby.

Assuming she was actually pregnant, what she was attempting with her extended travel while in labor with a special needs baby is sometimes called a "fundy abortion". Since she's morally trapped by her beliefs, she thinks she can let God figure it out. Ironically, it's a pragmatic solution to a dogmatic problem.

Something is very fishy here. If I were running for dogcatcher and people wanted to see my birth certificate, it's right here in a drawer and would be produced in a couple of hours. I could obtain my son's and grandchildrens' with a couple of weeks and I'm no one. If I were a governor, I could get them yesterday.
This is not difficult or any more intrusive than producing their tax filings (I'd consider it less intrusive).

She does not deliver high risk babies; this one was an exception. She has privileges at a larger Anchorage hospital that has a neo-natal ICU. Palin passed by that hospital in her mad rush to get to Wasilla. Baldwin-Johnson made an ambiguous statement to the press the day the baby was born and never spoke of it again. She has been dropped from the staff of Mat-Su Hospital and no one knows where she is.

BTW, blood typing for genetic code is quite conclusive. There's an easy test to determine parental vs. non-parental DNA, and it's more than 99% effective. Although I got HUGE with my first child, I NEVER showed with my SECOND child. It was wild, I carried her way different from my first born (son) and most of my neighbors questioned me heavily when my second child "suddenly showed up out of no where".
I'll admit, I have questions - but I don't have a problem with her not showing, because I know first hand it is possible and as athletic as she is - highly probable!

I'm with you on the birth record, but still disagree on showing. Truly, I wore plain street clothes to the ER when my water broke and the nurse didn't believe me that I was delivering....I had no belly pop and my daughter was almost 7 lbs.

Trig doesn't look like a preemie. If he was a preemie I wouldn't be surprised if he was born in March (which would preclude Sarah from traveling to Texas) If Bristol did not have mono, but cytomegalovirus (which has the exact same symptoms as mono) that would explain her having an infant with mental retardation.
