Gravatar What we are engaged in Iraq is a peacekeeping mission. Yes, there will be collateral damage, but it is nothing compared to the damage the Iraqi "insurgents" and their foreign mercenaries from the Gulf will perpetrate on the Iraqi population after we leave.

Gravatar Ahh, you do make me laugh. What are we going to do, stay there forever? Not a chance.

And, there's nothing our staying can do to prevent such action.

Oh, and "foreign mercenaries"? Please, it's not as if thousands, let alone tens of thousands of them are running around.

Except for the mercenaries named Blackwater, DynCorp. etc.

Did you perhaps mean them?

Gravatar Athiest man, Blackwater's killings cannot compare to the damage caused by the Saudi boys detonating suicide bombs in markets. Blackwater often panics and also makes very stupid mistatakes and kills innocent people, but the Saudi bombers are deliberately targeting civilians. There is a difference.
