Don't get you. Terry was responsible for Business Week's recent layoffs. How does that square with your glowing assessment of him?

That's a fair point. I guess the question is whether BW ad sales are in a secular or cyclical slump. My assumption is the former.
If it is the latter then I suppose that layoffs are a short-sighted overreaction.
In a way, my post fell into a trap to which financial journalists are prone. I said "by every measure," but I was thinking by every financial measure.
