U.S. Ambassador Sam Fox:From Swift Boat War Fraud to Brussels,Belgium SWIFT Finance Fraud
Sam Fox's Jewish and Israeli business connections must have made him aware of massive Israeli fraud using worthless U.S. penny stocks as intruments that can also be used for money laundering. This in turn can fund terrorism or anything else including political campaigns.
That is why the Utah Mormon Senators Bob Bennett and Orin Hatch are so fond of penny stock promoter and Overstock.com con artist Patrick Byrne who along with his Geico insurance billionaire father Jack gave over $1 million to Republican campaigns and dirty tricks including donations to the Swift Boat Captains for Truth, justlike U.S. Belgium Ambassador Sam Fox did, that was used to smear John Kerry's war record and distract from the lack of a war record for W Bush.
Patrick Byrne runs or funds a number of scammy penny stock websites where false claims are made about 'naked short selling' to distract from the fact the companies he and his Washington,D.C. insiders are promoting are really dumping their worthless shares themselves and NOT being 'naked shorted' or counterfeitted by anyone else but themselves.

My dear Mr. Ryals, please do not make ethnic references in posts. Whether people are Mormon, Jewish or whatever is of no consequence.

Gary,
Remember it was you and the sanitycheck gang who went bonkers over 'semite' and 'jew' a while back
not me.Like I said I don't even believe most 'Jews'are 'semites' but if the religous mythology does am I supposed to pretend it's true or that I believe it so I don't hurt a 'Jews' feelings ? Don't worry, rumor on indymedia is the catholic church is sueing indymedia where I posted my 'pope's misconceptions...' article.Don't worry the far right religionists are doing just fine.
And to ignore religion and what it is being used for before 911 and since then verges on the absurd.Am I to discuss these issues without discussing the religious hypocracies
that drive them? Remember Alpert of Barrons got sued by Australian Gutnik for writing about his stock scams with Orthodox Jews.Do you believe Gutnik had a 'right' to censor Alpert ? Do you believe I should take religious classes from W Bush and his pal Fox ? Or maybe Bush's Al Sabah allies could enlighten me.....
Do you not believe that Bush or Fox and the Republicans don't use the 'religion card' every day ? In fact you are playing a religious guilt game with me right now.Why ?
To ignore a far right wing movement in religion and that these religionists are on the internet right now('christian financial news' or CFBN for instance ?),as well as in our government and 'securities
industry' etc.,in U.S.,India, Israel, Iraq and Guatemala politics right now you are deluded .And I believe the Methodist Church SHOULD take some responsibilty for Tim Mahoney's vFinance for example because he raps himself in the Methodist Church like Steve Forbes raps himself in the U.S. flag.
Why are you not as angry about Sam Fox's and Patrick Byrne's use of the media and internet to use Kerry's war record to manipulate U.S. citizens and politics ? And why are you are not angered that Pat Byrne's stock fraud has been used to pay for political fraud which I also suspect of Sam Fox.
If anything Gary you should apologise to me for infering I'm
prejudised by anyone's religion. It is the people whose slimy business and political practices I discuss who should distance themselves from religions they are affiliated with or stop defaming them with unethical and deceptive business and political practices.
And if you haven't corrected your boss Steve Forbes for his tirades about 'Moslems and Liberals' who he
(hee hee)seems to think are the same
beast,I don't know what to say...

Gary: I began reading your blog a while back and find most of it quite informative, providing a unique and valuable angle on market topics. I'm also very interested in Russia's free press crisis and your commentary on it.
But, I can no longer resist asking: Why such heavy and obsessive coverage of Overstock.com and certain persons that work there? I honestly don't get it. I'm not challenging your position on the company and its goings-on. But, whatever its sins - it's a small fish with marginal influence on anything in particular.
It seems like lately, this blog is as dedicated to Overstock.com personalities as it is to anything. Some of the material has certainly provided food for thought, but the disproportionate focus baffles me. Is there something I'm not getting here? I guess what I'm saying is this: I wish there were a lot more coverage of the Klebnikov / Russian journalists developments, and a lot less coverage of some amateurish Overstock.com employee's questionable Wikipedia edits.
I realize that I'm just one person in the universe, so take my comments for whatever they're worth. But for me, the proportion of space dedicated to Overstock.com just doesn't compute. If I'm missing something, do tell. Thoughts?

Marion, thanks for your comments. I believe Overstock.com deserves close scrutiny because of the vile behavior of its CEO, Patrick Byrne. His continual misrepresentations and disgraceful conduct, which has yet to result in any regulatory consequences, show how little the lessons of Enron have been taken to heart.
One factor that has encouraged me (and others) to write about him is that he has put a stalker on the payroll named Judd Bagley, director of social media. Yes, acting that way certainly does attract scrutiny, or at least it does from me, Joe Nocera of the New York Times, Susan Antilla of Bloomberg, Herb Greenberg of Marketwatch.com, and others. We have all been viciously attacked by Bagley & Co. in return.
So yes, Overstock is a small company -- a nonentity -- but in the world of slime it stands tall. I intend to write about it frequently and continue my close scrutiny of its actions.
