None of Sam's observations are new, some have been around for quite some time. So, whereas before Sam would post his observations, and Byrne would spew forth hatred and vomit, now it's ok to actually respond.

As for the response to Sam's observations....if I were an SEC enforcement official, OSTK would be back on the radar. Alas, I am not, and as you have pointed out, Gary, hope for appropriate action against OSTK is dim. And THAT may be the key to 'why'.
Overstock is a head fake , a fient. OSTK lawyers ( Christian and O'Quinn ) were looking for a big payday long before Patrick became the vehicle to see if Gradient clients were naked shorting. Our government was bagged by the naked shorting crowd , recall those subpeonas of Herb and others ? The SEC investigation of Gradiant should have resulted in a investgation of the many companies Gradiant was covering, like Novastar . A Gradient investigation by the SEC should have resulted in a investigation of Phil Saunders and Lanny Davis and the O'Quinn crowd which was looking for a big naked shorting payday long before Patrick decided to hide behind that issue. They are hundreds of people associated with this naked shorting issue and only one who refused to identify himself. Why is that ? Phil created a website devoted to Novastar , now he has one devoted to naked shorting . He is a founder of the movement .....
