I never thought I'd support Sinn Féin, but I do on this one. Well done for seeing through the smokescreen and standing up for what is right. You have my vote (not that I'll be given one, mind).

I'm not convinced yet - several of those ten are a little vague.

Not sure how versed you are on the issue Chris, but could you elaborate specifically on:

8. It seriously undermines workers rights and public services.

10. It undermines the EU's commitment to tackling global poverty and inequality.

I'm pretty pro-EU but am concerned at the Lisbon Treaty.

Libertas make a number of good arguments without being anti-EU.

Prionsias de Rossa's main arguments for the Treaty seem to be to insult the main political opponents of the Treaty in Ireland and to suggest it is bad...because Le Pen in France is also against it (i.e. the old stickie tactic - "you're all fascists except us"!!)

I agree SF and all on the left who'll be voting no need to communicate their reasons for doing so very clearly. I'll vote no myself but it is curious indeed when one is on the same side as scum like Le Penn!

"when one is on the same side as scum like Le Penn"

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Gravatar well said chris

Gravatar Do you mean that Sinn Féin is going to become a European party, connecting with EU citizens in 27 member states?
