You better hope the Irish People vote yes to Lisbon Chris otherwise the ROI will sink like a stone. The EU is the only chance you have of any form of unification - not into a sovereign 32 county Ireland but as components of a Federal and socialist Europe. And chances are it will be a Mildly Catholic Europe with a healthy dose of French secularism!
