I double dog dare you to call the Republican political blog "The Flame of Truth" and the Catholic religious blog "Balrog," just to keep things interesting. Besides, I thought around your part of the world, the patriotic flame will never die, plus it is a known fact that the love of one's country banishes fear with the speed of a flame, making the flame imagery all the more appropriate.

The title "The Flame of Truth" comes from a religious poem.
God is very interested in politics (he was the one who told us to govern the world in his name). Leave your Christian beliefs out, and your politics become dry and risk being ungodly. Leave politics out of religion, and your faith becomes a cry in the wilderness, lacking practical outworking.
Chris, whatever disagreements - big or small - we have in religion and politics, don't be half of what you are. Slán.
