Come on Chris, be a bit more realistic, there is a mountain between where the bomb was found and Forkhill so it's hardly 'just outside Forkhil'
Likewise with the helicopters, if you haven't heard them then you musn't be around much as they are certainly heard regularily around Silverbridge, Crossmaglen and district.
I see helicopters flying in South Armagh everyday.
Specsavers could sort that out.
