Tutu has an excellent point regarding Rev Wright! There is truth, albeit exaggerated, within the contecxt of Plymouth Rock landing on Africans slaves brought to the land by people who sought freedom only for white people! Even then, so what? There is no greater patriot than Rev Wright, in his wholesum service to America (military service) despite the BS of the era and his (Wright's presence)while part of the team for President Johnson, while he was sick.
Rev Wright's referenes in his sermon relate to the service of God vs that of man and the justice or lack thereof within the societal milieu of the era and now! As an American, he has that right to talk as he pleases, like any other American such as Hannity and his wisdom, if you call it that.
That is the problem but while it has been solved one cannot imagine why Obama and any American of similar sorts would receive 10 times the death threats of their similar counterparts. Can one?
Deceit and hypocracy are part of the American landscape and it will never go away.
