Unfortunately all could proceed as indicated. Except for the good parts. Because I don't believe Americans are sufficiently intelligent at this point. Even the GOP is betraying and will continue to betray Conservatism.
I still go back to this one point (where I am still excoriated for the opinion): a vote for anyone but McCain, or staying home, or voting for anyone else is nothing but a GUARANTEED VOTE for Barack Hussein Obama.

I think I'm in agreement with BZ.
I think "Centered" states, and "Southern States" will be fine in the aftermath of an obama presidency. I am not sure the Our state BZ or the NY Clinton faithful will EVER catch a clue.
Good post. There is an interesting post at Pa's (Cookie Crumb Express) along the same lines regarding Obama:
Paul Waner then sent word to the official scorer that he did not want that questionable hit to be the one that put him over the top. The official scorer reversed himself and called it an error. Later Paul Waner got a clean hit for number 3,000.
What reminded me of this is the great fervor that many seem to feel over the prospect of the first black President of the United States . No doubt it is only a matter of time before there is a black president, just as it was only a matter of time before Paul Waner got his 3,000th hit.
The issue is whether we want to reach that landmark so badly that we are willing to overlook how questionably that landmark is reached. Paul Waner had too much pride to accept a scratch hit.
Interestingly, the article was written by a black Senior Fellow at Stanford.
