Lets see, as an E-4, I made a whopping $720.00 a month, received $110.00 per month per diem, and $450.00 a month housing allowance to live off base making my gross income $1270.00 per month. I paid all the taxes and SDI that was required, so my net income was right around $900,00 per month. Granted, that was a couple decades ago, but I guarantee our military is not compensated anywhere near the private sector, which means these folks aren't there for the money; no, they're there for the intrinsic values that still mean something like honor, freedom, and America.

Our military make it possible for you to not only be speaking English, but to continue to breathe. They are what stand between you (and me) and our worst enemies.
I do not know what your “job” is. From what you say, you have assets in the 5 million dollar range. Is your job different from that of a service member? Yes. Is it as important? I don’t know. Many jobs can be considered equally important. Many jobs are not.
But that’s not really the point here. The point is that your frustration and anger at our government should not be directed at a military family. Saying, “I PAY FOR YOUR HUSBAND AND YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get over it!!! Go contribute to society in REAL manner” - shows how you really feel about our military. Many fellow bloggers have commented to this knucklehead, and his IP address is the method in which we report harassing and stalking commentors to their carriers.
