it reminds me again that you are like me, watching a husband live through a difficult life ... trying to be a help to him ...
and i can't believe that your sweet son is 20 now ... and you are 50!!! wow ... time flies doesn't it?
sorry i'm not commenting on this particular post, just sharing thoughts prompted by previous ones ...
blessings on your life, Gayla, as you continue to bless with your blog!!

Hi Gayla! I've visited your blog before and I think we commented back and forth. You and I have similar testimonies! I praise God for Pastor Jim McClarty!! He used him in a huge way for me and my husband to open our eyes of His Sovereignty!! I saw on his facebook page you are now watching the Amazing Grace videos from Apologetic's Group. I just went ahead and bought the 10 pack and hand them out to everybody. Then, those who are still talking to me after watching (hee...hee) I tell them about Pastor Jim's most excellent TULIP series that's like over 20 messages. I bet I have listened to that a dozen times!! Glory to God!!
In Him,
Sister Cin

Saija!!!! Helloooooo! and hugs to you too!
It's been a while. I confess, I spend much more time on Facebook than I do on the blogs anymore. Thank you for visiting and leaving such sweet thoughts. I know we do share the common bond of husbands with chronic diseases, and we can relate to each other in ways that others cannot. Nice to have a friend like that! Have you ever considered joining Facebook?
Oh my goodness, Cindy! Please forgive me for not recalling our previous comments to one another! I just finished watching the AG video last night, and will start it again today. There is much to absorb! I love Jim, too. Stumbled across his "IS Christmas Pagan" sermon on Reformed Voices blog last Nov or Dec, and have been listening ever since. I was honored to meet him back in April over Easter weekend. As I tell him all the time, I am taught well.
