Your thoughts here...

Gravatar If you had met me on Resurrection Sunday 2008, instead of 2009, you would have seen me when I had my movement disorder. Long story short - I suffered with a chronic episodic movement disorder for 12 years, which means, my movement disorder came and went.

I would be fine for a while, but each time it came, I could essentially cross off a year of my life. On my best day, I moved like Michael J Fox does on his worst day. I know what it is like to be bedridden, disabled, and financially wiped out (4 times).

Anyway, we found the cure in the summer of 2008, and I have been rebuilding my life ever since.

So when I say that I agree wholeheartedly with your take on suffering and the Sovereignty of God, you can be assured that I don't say this naively.

God is Sovereign - even in our suffering. It's actually a very comforting doctrine. If His Sovereign Will included the suffering of Christ on the cross, who am I to think that He will not use suffering in my life to glorify Himself?

Gravatar Wow, Wendy! That's an incredible story. Thank you for sharing it with me. What an amazing testimony to the mercy of God in your life.

Gravatar You are a fine writer. I loved your theology here. Good stuff.

Gravatar Hi Mark!!!
