Tom Haudricourt of the Sentinel Journal: |

I guess it doesn't matter who you replace him with if the bats don't wake up. |
For what it's worth I was saying Parra had hit the wall 2 starts ago. The kid just doesn't seem to have ANYTHING left in the tank. I have to agree with you though chris...neither option for replacement seems very good, but the way Parra is pitching it can't possibly be worse. |
I just can't be more down on this team. Chris I understand the way you feel. It's just so incredibly to put all the time and "fandom" if you will, into a season, and to watch a team so egregiously tank it at the end of the year, and no, I don't think they've not giving their all, but I definatley can say that they are playing nowhere near their abilities. This choke job is going to be remembered for a LOOOOONG time I have a feeling. |
I will be honest I am hoping people like Peter are right and if they choke this away we get rid of Yost look what getting rid of Willie Randolph did for the Mets and he was a much better Manager than Yost |
I think if they don't make the playoffs there absolutely no way they can bring Yost or any of the other coaches back next year. The problem with comparing them to the mets is the mets are a big market team that still had big market talent (including adding johan this off season...that helps) The Brewers took their shot this year with CC knowing that this was likely going to be their one best chance for the next 2-3 years...and they still choked it away. Inexcusable. |
anyone know if Beckum is playing tonight for the Badgers? |
Hey move it up to the open thread Phil lol |
While I would love to at least GET to the playoffs, it became clear to me during the last Cubs series that this was not a playoff team. |
