Musings from the Bar Stools

The problem the Team will have if they move Prince is media and a large portion of the fan base will turn on them saying they are acting like a small market team and getting rid of talent because they cannot afford them even when they are flirting with 3 million in attendance(something that will not happen if they do not turn it around quickly)

Even though salary might not be the main reason they would move him you will never get the "casual" fan to by that story.

My worry is I do not know how much longer this organization can go on without a little success by that I mean making the playoffs If this team regresses back to sub 500 this season it could be a disaster.

I do not think the Brewers should lock up Fielder long term. I could never have put it as eloquently as you just did, but I have the same thoughts.

great article paul.

Very good post. Mo Vaughn was the first guy I thought of when I saw Prince the first time. Great seasons early, then girth gets the best of him.

I always thought 29 was the average prime for baseball players. I could be wrong.
