The "Films That Didn't Win" list was surprisingly conventional, at least for my tastes -- not a single foreign language film in the lot! I can agree with a few picks -- say, Goodfellas and Some Like It Hot -- but Star Wars and E.T.?!? I say look overseas for some of the best movies produced in the past forty years, ever since Hollywood began its ascent into the blockbuster stratosphere.
