The sad truth is that while we have eddie o sullivan at the helm we will be playing a brand of rugby that doesn't suit any of the players. Using a playbook where we run plays solely off set piece is missing the obvious strengths of our players. Munster play down the middle smashing the teeth of the opposition until none are left. Leinster off load and pop to support runners. Both styles are proven and work well, but until eddie leaves or changes his tactics the national team will struggle. The best teams in the world can win because they can adapt to any situation and I believe Ireland has the quality playing staff to do the same. We need a coach to have that same quality.

Eddie once said that the Lions tour last year was a revelation for him. He came back from New Zealand determined to put into practice what he had seen there.
Unfortunately what he ended up with was more like the Lions' tactics than the All-Blacks...
