One of the most contented moments of my life was sitting at the Full Sail brewery, drinking a fresh IPA and eating grilled veggie brats, while watching the Columbia River roll by. True bliss.

But ya, the natural beauty of my surroundings, enjoyed with mellow friends and family and the occasional amber ale... Bliss is a pretty accurate description.

Wow, have you been to a Microbrew Fest yet? I've been to several with my beer snob husband and his friend. But last year was the first time I wasn't the DD. We go to the one in Eugene every year. It's great! We love Rogue.

I have hardly been down to Eugene at all since I moved back, except to breeze by the country fair a few weeks ago. You gotta let me know what festivals you like down there. I will put them on the calendar for next year. Always, always, always love an opportunity to try new microbrews.

Yes, I am a beer snob too. But not as much as him. I will let you know about the events when I find them. The Brew fest in Eugene is usually in February and hosted by KLCC radio. I'm not sure of the 2009 dates. We have one in Corvallis in May.

Hey, I will be traveling up your way for school soon. You'll have to let me know what's going on, or where to eat, etc. I might be staying with family in Gresham.
