The obvious point about colour blindness - unknown in women (except via disease)and over 10% amongst men -ought to show this 'study' to be fairly skewed.
The most common failing is red/green (great choice for traffic lights)and suggests an evolutionary reason for the gender specificity.
The Mighty Hunter off on the hunt would eat his meat fresh & red, the woman would be more concerned about getting the right berries to avoid poisoning.
Even more importantly, be able to discern the subtle shift from fresh red meat to the unpleasant greenish tinge which is lethal. Females with colour blindness would tend to have fewer, if any, surviving off-spring and quickly be bred out.
Odd about that haemophilia thing too - strange that no woman suffers from it...
Olfactory accuity is also gender specific - and it ain't Tarzan who can sniff out prey; again it's the woman, for any number of obvious & less obvious but important reasons. Ain't evolution wunnerful?

plausible...but doesn't that kind of assume Mighty Hunter weren't tempted to snack on berries while out hunting?

Absolutely. It's been well documented in EVERY soi-disant 'hunter-gatherer' society that the vast majority of bulk (carbohydrate etc) AND protein is acquired by the women, children & elderly, ranging from 70-95%.
Great when tarzan manages to kill (or more likely find something - carrion) but he'd starve were it not for what the little lady & kids (not forgetting granma)found during the day.
The real problem for the mighty hunter phantasy is that, the harsher the environment (ie the Kalahari or OZ outback), the greater the female contribution.
In rich environments (PNG, the Mong, the wetter areas of Africa)the women simply garden rather than gather but NOWHERE does the bloke do diddly on any regular basis.
