hey thanks, Ross. i did have a lovely birthday - very spoilt and nearly overdosed on white chocolate mud cake. and yeah, me and the munchkin will definitely celebrate appropriately after he gets back Friday (yay!).

I love this post, it isn’t pretentious or banal at all. It reminds me of many of my own fragments. It never dawned on me that these were used to shore against my ruin, but they are. Too many have been lost and forgotten. I wish I had blogged about my fragments or at least kept a journal. Thanks for sharing some of yours. (Too bad you can’t share that white chocolate mud cake on your blog too).

Lovely post Gianna. Reading these kinds of posts makes me want to give up blogging in embarrassment at my own lack of talent, but then what would I do with all my photos of Lily and food?
