it is a difficult problem and not only for women but also for young men who do not take responsibility for their actions.

I think if Catholics only stood together and refused to vote for pro-choice politicians then hopefully another politician will be PRO-LIFE in order to garner the 'catholic vote'.
I know its a dream, but one can hope.

I remember reading in an article that THIS generation wonder at how one hundred years ago human beings were bought and sold through slavery. One wonders what future generations will think of us? That in our own time babies were ripped from a mothers womb WITH her consent.

Thankyou for your comment Joakim it is appreciated.

Gravatar I think this is a very hard question. I have never experienced a politician or a political party that I can fully agree with.

Sometimes you'll have to make some hard choices. In Sweden all political parties are pro choice for instance. If we Catholics stop to vote our voices will be heard even less.

I believe we can work for changing peoples views on abortion in other ways as well. In supporting the Sisters of Life for instance. I believe it is more important to change peoples perceptions than to try to solve this problem with legislation.

Legislation without a change of perception risk to just abandon young mothers. Just as they are abandoned now when doctors recommend abortion.
