I agree with you, I really don't think people understand that God's Justice has to be appeased. Can you imagine the cries of the unborn that must rent Heaven asunder...And what are the politicians pushing and people are focussing on? Greenhouse effect and the price of OIL!
I once asked a group of Catholic women who would they vote for a politician who embraced abortion but promised to lower taxes or a politician who opposes abortion but would raise taxes...They had to stop and think about it?! Most then said they would vote for the Pro-Death candidate..Beggars belief!
We have our priorities skewered...We are more worried about our 'comforts' than about the murder of billions of innocent unborn babies.
Any 'catholic' who votes for a pro-Death canditate has corrupted their own faith and principles. There is NO excuse for voting for DEATH!
The Nazi's used 'Final Solution' for their Mass Murder we use 'Pro-Choice' sounds so much more..clincial than PRO-DEATH! It is a butchering of the english language to make murder more appealing.
Yes, God is Merciful but HE is also Just and His Justice must be appeased, hence we have wars, catastrophe's, crime, immorality..There will NEVER be peace in the world so long as abortion stays legal. God's Commandments supercede any MAN MADE law, that is what many people are misunderstanding. Because it is LAW doesn't make it right! The founding fathers of America are NOT the Early Church Fathers..The Constitution of America does NOT supercede The Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes of the Bible, God's Holy Word.

I agree, how did we get to this state? How could we ever think that killing babies is a 'right'? I read a few years ago that England was trying to come up with 'lunch time abortions' where a woman can have an abortion in her lunch break and then return to work on the same day. when I hear the term 'catholics for Obama' a chill goes down my spine. He is a man of great rhetoric, but so was Hitler. Unlike Hitler, Obama is not evil, but he has embraced an evil ideology, what is the difference? It is chilling when evil is accepted as common place ordinariness. I will write later about how evil can come disguised as ordinary. A responsible Catholic cannot and MUST NOT vote for a pro-choice canditate..You cannot vote for EVIL and think it a 'good'. America really needs our prayers God bless you hon.

Excellent, excellent juxtapositions! Lies and hot air vs. definitive, unswerving truth. The Church has indeed always been very clear. More than can be said of Pelosi, Obama and their ilk. Unfortunately, they're getting an awful lot of air time these days ~ and there is a public that is all too willing sometimes to believe their lies. I was so moved and scared at the same time. I do not understand how people can say abortion is a choice. You can chose what shoes to wear and you can chose who your friends are, but who has the right to chose to end life but God??? Thank you for those quotes. I was surrounded this weekend at a family reunion with ALL Obama supporters (two members of the family working on his campgain; one will gain a position in D.C. if he wins; yes, they are all Catholic). I can only pray that God guides the voters in November. I feel so strongly that if we take care morally that the rest (health insurance, poverty, etc.) will fall into place. If we stop killing our innocent, God will bless this country. If we continue to kill, I only see this country continue on the downward spiral that it is already in.
Love one another. If we do that, then there should be no poverty because we are taking care of each other. Love one another and there should be no abortions because every baby would be loved and supported and the mother would be loved and supported. Love one another and the world will be a better place. Jesus did it--why can't we?

Wonderful post. When I was reading some of the quotes I had to stop and think, yes this is really happening in America.
It does seem so simple that abortion is murder. I will continue to pray until every blind eye is open to the lies, and that people will see that murdering children is never a choice.
THANK YOU Marie! Great post! I will add it to my blog, so others may come here to read this. I was in my prayer room today, and the Diary of St Faustina was right in front of me, on the ottoman. I picked it up, held it, and gazed at the cover. Maybe it's just me, (I see all sorts of things in other things...clouds, trees, etc) but if you look at it, Faustina is standing on a world shattered, and to the very right, in the lower corner of that shattered world, I see a tiny baby, inside the torn apart womb. I'd like to know if anyone else sees this? Also, read her entry 1276, for she must have been shown the vision of the abortions to come when she wrote that entry! St Faustina was in great pain for 3 hours, from 8 - 11:00 p.m. every night to the point of losing consciousness. An excerpt: "Jesus had me realize, that in this way, I took part in His Agony in the Garden, and that He himself allowed these sufferings in order to offer reparation to God for the souls murdered in the wombs of wicked mothers..."

I agree and I feel sorry for the women who have fallen for this great lie. Abortions have tragic consequences as many women fall into depression and even suicide. Let us not fall for these lies propogated by Satan through various organizations and politcians..Abortion is the most horrendous murder for it is done by the parents of the unborn.

I find it so sad that abortion seems to have become this everyday, normal thing for people. It is the worst kind of murder in fact because it is the premeditated killing of a complete innocent. What is often not recognised too is the suffering and destruction it causes to the mother.

and please DO link to this piece as it is crucial American Catholics understand that a vote for any pro-death candidate goes against the Teachings of the Catholic Church.
We ALL need to follow the Catholic Churches Teachings on these issues rather than some overly ambitious politicians who lost their principles long ago.
The scary thing here is that Joseph Goebbels is right. Tell a lie for long enough and it will be believed.
Abortion is murder. There is no grey area or 'choices' to make.
