All companies are mad. I've been invited to a motivational rebranding conference next week. All punching the air and singing the company song. To mark the spirit of the times and to underpin the company's values it has decided to do this in Northampton, starting at 9am and finishing at 7.30pm and no overnight accommodation will be paid for. So that'll be another motivational 19 hour day then. Bless. Think I'll work a lot harder for'em this year.

I once attended a motivational 'rallying the troops' type conference in Northampton. The main speaker was really enthused and up for it.

It was 1992, I think. Bloke's name was Neil Kinnock.
