It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

I might be being thick here, but who is Rufus Wainwright?

PS: Loving the "Kloot" track - when I saw them live as support to the Divine Comedy about 2 years ago (maybe more, infact) they were excellent.

Rufus, Loudon's boy.
I've done a link now, if that's any help?

Impecable taste as always. Jolly good show!

I've had the same issue with my tickets to see Doves. 3 weeks ago I received an email telling me 'not to panic' about not having received the tickets. Their excuse being the promoters don't release the tickets until the last possible minute to avoid resales via EBay et al.
Strange then how I received my REM tickets a week after I ordered them, which was about 2 months ago and that gig isn't until July.
So, it kinda makes you wonder....which would fetch more money on EBay....Tickets for Doves (a free standing gig) or tickets for REM (a special cordoned off area up the front)?

LLO - Don't forget, I still like Keane though....

bedshaped - I take your point, as I had the 'last minute delivery' scenario with Elvis Costello, but, those Rufus tickets - I'd had them all along....

Can I say 'dumbass' and you not be offended?

I might have to delve a bit deeper into Rufus. On a ticket-related note, my Muse tickets turned up a week before the Earls Court gig last year... only for me to leave them at work on the Friday night before... cue a hungover, wacky drive into work on the Saturday morning !

I can't get excited about Rufus Wainwright and boy have I tried. I really tried hard with Jeff Buckley too, to little avail.

bedshaped - 'dumbass' is the least I could expect, so no offence at all.

backroads - I've seen some photos of Rufus which have got me quite excited, but to little avail.

Gary - I'm not the only dumbass then!

hmmm... his sister looks alright though.
