Are you sure it wasn't just going to a deafening gig at which you had to shout all night, and somebody punched you in the face afterwards?

I always feel like I've gotten a cold after a weekend like that. Sometimes I really have, and sometimes it's just a symptom of all the smoke, drink, running around, and noise.
I hope yours is the latter!
