i've been a browsing your blogs from out here in sunny Texas these past few weeks, and enjoying em too. you got purrty good taste, girl. apart from the obligatory few howlers of course... england dan and john ford coley - nah, sorry, yuk!. and, eek, the Dickies and, ugh, Chicago. yup, them last pair i could really do without. But Wreckless Eric... yessirree... waaaay waaaaay cool! have you seen him lately? he's still great. i got to see him two or three years back. enjoyed his book too. a boring aside now, but i was out driving in the Hill Country today (to see a man about a PA), and for some reason i started thinking about that old Native Hipsters thing, 'There Goes Concorde Again', which somehow made me think of you...

sorry about the music taste jibes... wasnt totally serious. anyhow, me got plenty of skeletons. for one, last few days i've been playing the recently (re)issued very first genesis album. although i hate genesis with a passion, for some reason i've always had a soft spot for that one-off album of sorta 60s english pop charm naivete. but i shan't try and defend myself any further. that's pretty indefensible, i know. oh, and nope, i'm not actually born and bred Texas. i moved here two years ago. i'm guessing your name isnt really Beth either...
