It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

Ah well, I wouldn't grouse. 0-0 against a team of peninsular-clinging tin miners might seem a long way from the champions league, but at least the players are your own and there's no flecky lease-it-back-from-the-company-you-sold-it-to dead bodies under the patio.

And at least you got 90 minutes in. Whether they deserve it or not, you've got to feel for south London's finest who trotted up to Sunderland for the weekend. April? In Sunderland? Do me a favour! That was archive footage from the Greenland first division.

Leeds?? I'm so disappointed...

Don't be diappointed, she doesn't need your help.

DIRTY LEEDS

oh Bob - so passe.

being a part-time palace fan i could say something....but in recent weeks i've just felt football = bothered...i'd much rather be let down by the new futureheads single rather than 11 men.

Oh! Now I see why you were so quick to pick up on my Don Revie/carpet bowls reference a few weeks back, Beth.... looking at the League table I can see that the two points dropped v Plymouth do look particularly costly- although I also see you have Sheffield United away coming up next week... a win there and you could just be back in contention again (although surely The Blades can't blow automatic promotion once more)...

... of course what I should have said is that I mentioned Don Revie, and it was you who came up with carpet bowls-credit where it is due!

jonathan - now i'm concerned that for a short space of time you just thought i was some strange Don Revie obsessed freak...
