It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

No escaped puma at Salford Crescent?

I've actually been 22 minutes late to work because of a swan on the track.

But hasn't it been done to death?
What we really need is remakes of Little house on the prairie.
Or Monkey.

Michael Praed will always be my Robin Hood. Despite the fact that he had an extreme mullet.

Monkey was repeated on ITV425 (or whatever) not that long ago.

And I too would like to see a remake of Little House on the Prairie, with a new feature at the start, like a gameshow. You have to make sure the little girl doesn't make it down the hill or the program will actually start... noooooo

Noooo! leave LHOTP alone!!! Hands off Laura Ingalls Wilder!!!!

The remake of Little House on the Priarie would see the Ingalls family trade up from a modest log cabin to a fabulous converted schoolhouse in the trendy lumber mill town of Walnut Grove.

I too believe that Tony Robinson's maid Marion thing has no equals.

Oh, and Kevin McCloud would be there to preside over the schoolhouse conversion.

Now I'm interested.

Could I just say because I'm at home off work at the moment I've been watching a film on Sky Movies called 'The Monkey King' which is a poor re-telling of the story related to 'Monkey'.

In this version its 'modern day american gets whisked back in time to help the monkey king win back his kingdom from pesky demons' type of story- not a patch on the original I'm afraid.

And hows about merging Evil Dead 2 with LHOTP? I'm thinking secluded log cabins, Laura Ingalls armed with a massive chainsaw, Bruce Campbell could get whisked back in time to help her win back Walnut Grove again from pesky demons.. -Oh no.. wait..

Maid Marion can throw her ninja hair pins at me any time she wants...gently, of course...

I was also intrigued by how similar Guy of Guisborne sounds to Sean Bean, and he looks very cool in his black gear...
(I always found the tv series of LHOTP a bit disappointing, because I loved the books so much and the series didn't do them justice).

BL - 'because I'm at home off work at the moment...' it's ok, there's no need to justify spending the day watching dodgy movies on sky, not round these parts anyhow.

J - you're right, LHOTP on the telly bore very little resemblance to LHOTP in print, but I loved it anyway!

Cuchulainn ?
Is that an unusual name, or have I just led a very quiet life?
