You've been using up all the North West train running karma. Those of us commuting on the south side of the city have been suffering the bad train karma with two totally pear-shaped evenings...
I can never say the words, as the law of the train is such that the minute I do there will be cancellation & delay chaos...but... it's been pretty good lately...
It's known as "The Unspeakable Law". If you mention something, if it's bad, it's happens. If it's good it goes away.
In your case, the Something Bad happened to someone else; me 
You don't get the excitement of freight trains on fire passing through the station while you're waiting for your train.
