It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

I don't think people do grow out of listening to music these days, what with all the ways of being able to access it.

Mind you, in the case of my sixty year old neighbour and his endlessly played "The Best Jamie Oliver-Approved Indie Album In The World - Ever!!!" compilations, this could be a bad thing.

All the more ways to find it, but still only the same amount of hours in a day to listen to it.

I'm thinking of employing an east european migrant worker to do extra listening for me...hang on though, I'd be better off paying an east european migrant worker to do my ACTUAL job for me, while I stay at home & listen to music...

BTW, are you comfy in here? I'll fetch you a cup of tea if you like.

... a cup of sugary tea would be much appreciated, actually.

You can get Val Doonican's Ring Of Bright Water on CD - http://www.blahdvd.com/Blah/CD_P...d=CD-4664062- 7L

All depends if you value your sanity enough to sit through seventy four other songs by Val Doonican.

...milky? and would that be in a china cup* or a mug?

I think my problem is I don't actually want to *pay* for it. These days, if I only want the one track, I feel that it's my absolute right to get it for free of the interweb.

(*we don't actually have any china cups, so it's a mug or nothing, but I'm not used to visitors and am over anxious to please)

So this is where she is.

I'm falling out of love with my mp3 player, though I only listen to it at home in the mornings before I go to work. I feel like carrying a ghetto blaster around the house with me. I just prefer listening in the open air. Those pesky 70s style headphones make me look silly, too.

I'll be able to wake Betty up with Val D.

Geoff! Sit down. Have a bourbon. What are you having in your tea these days - vole milk is it?

Are there any chocolate hobnobs on offer?

I'll just pop and and buy some...don't go away.
