It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

That kicks ass. Good for you. People who talk through gigs deserve to be beaten to death with slugs.

Did you enjoy the gig? He makes a very attractive Judy Garland, no? But needs some practise on those high high heels!

I love and admire you and everything you are and stand for. I am not exaggerating.

Oh, well done!!

Last gig we went to, us non-talkers were in the minority. Which is one reason we don't go anymore.

I could do with you on some of my gigging ventures.
Tell me, are you as good at dealing with 7 foot tall people who still insist on pushing their way past everybody to get as close to the stage as possible?

bedshaped - I'm actually much better in the non-verbal situations: nobody gets past me once I'm occupying space.

Geoff - But that means 'they' win, we can't let 'them' win!!

jo - I had to do it, but I thought I was going to regret it at one point!

NWM - You are incapable of exaggeration, so thank you for your kind words.

JH - He is better on the high heels than I would ever be. He was wonderful, and very beautiful too.

Brave girl! It takes a lot of nerve to do something like that, but sometimes you just have to make a stand for your own self-respect and peace of mind. Why are there so many inconsiderate knobheads around these days?

Bravo. I've done things like that, and although it's a bit unnerving at the time, you feel ace for ages afterwards.

And I am one of those lanky people at gigs. Sorry. I try and stand towards the back and stoop. But I am as God made me.

J - Are there really more of them, or is it just that we're of the age now where we feel it's our job to do something about them??

Del - 'Unnerved' is only the half of it!

I was one of those short people that lanky people seemed unable to resist standing right infront of - it's not that I've grown or taken to wearing stilts, but it doesn't seem to happen as much these days... I suppose that might be because, these days, I'm usually leaning on the stage/barrier..

Oh, also - glad you like the font...it's a start I suppose

I was being deliberately obtuse, but I'm quite sure you gathered that...

Ah, I'd put my money on 'tongue in cheek'.
